Meet Mary Soergel

As the senior vice president of Vendor Link Solutions at Ceto, Mary Soergel has a lot on her plate every day.

“We work with banks and credit unions, guiding them through the process of managing vendor relationships, from evaluating and selecting the right partners to negotiating contracts,” she said.

Often spending the fall and winter working from home, Mary wanted a change of scenery during the summer and began visiting Work-Space in Grand Rapids, one of MVP’s two coworking locations. “I quickly realized how much I appreciated having a dedicated spot to work outside the house,” she said.

What started as a short-term change soon turned into a long-term arrangement. With support from her company, she extended her All-Star membership into the fall.

As she settled in, Mary discovered the private offices and was immediately sold. “That was a game-changer,” she said. “I don’t like working from just a laptop, so having a monitor setup was a huge perk. Having a whiteboard and a filing cabinet also helps keep me organized. Those small things make a big difference.”

Her workday wasn’t the only thing that benefited from her membership; her fitness routine also leveled up. The proximity to MVP Sportsplex, across the parking lot from Work-Space, allows her to get in a quick workout, providing a mental and physical reset during the day.

“Moving your body is essential when you spend hours at a desk. I’m a big fan of the noon Torch and Body Pump classes at MVP Sportsplex,” she said.

Mary continues to experience the benefits of her membership beyond work hours. She ends her days feeling refreshed and ready to invest time into her husband and four kids. With a membership that covers her entire family, they make the most of MVP’s facilities together.

“We take full advantage of the pools in the summer and especially love the MVP Crahen pool,” she said. “The All-Star membership makes it easy to enjoy everything MVP has to offer.”
