After moving back to Michigan, James rejoined MVP and rediscovered the joy in his fitness routine.

Meet James, an All-Star member at MVP Sportsplex! His family started their MVP journey at MVP Rockford, before moving to Nashville. In Tennessee, he missed the strong community and connections he’d found at the club.⁠

When James and his family moved back to Michigan in 2022, he found it hard to stay motivated and keep up with his kids due to fatigue and health issues. He realized he needed a lifestyle change and rejoined MVP.⁠

He immediately felt welcomed back by team members who invested in his wellness. This atmosphere is what sparked his 125lb weight loss and journey to better health. He attributes the tremendous positive impact on his life to MVP, not just with physical changes but increased mental wellness.⁠

MVP helped James develop a balanced and consistent routine with workouts he genuinely looks forward to. James enjoys participating in TORCH class with his wife, taking his kids to the pool, and playing pickleball with his in-laws.⁠

He sees fitness as a joy, not a chore, and appreciates all the support MVP offers his family, from trainers to the Kid’s Stuff team. James’ dedication to wellness inspires members and staff alike, and we’re cheering him on as he continues on his journey
