Meet Our Camp Counselors

Summer is heating up at MVP Crahen, where camp is in full swing, and each day brings new adventures, friendships, and laughter. Campers stay active through a daily lineup of sports, games, crafts, and social connections, all guided by a dedicated team of counselors determined to make every moment count.
Among those leading the charge are returning counselors Jake, Rachel and Megan—each in their second year at MVP Crahen. All three were drawn to the role by a shared passion for working with kids and creating a positive, energetic camp experience.
“I decided to work at MVP Summer Camp because I’ve always loved working with kids and being part of a positive and active community,” said Rachel. “MVP Crahen embodies all the great qualities of an enjoyable work environment.”
From building sandcastles to playing pickup games of soccer and basketball, camp days are packed with action and opportunity.
“My favorite part of camp is swimming and playing basketball with the kids,” said Jake. “It’s the part of the day when they get to do what they love most, and I enjoy being a part of that freedom and joy.”
For Megan and Rachel, Fridays are the best.
“We have a special activity tied to each week’s theme,” said Megan. “It’s awesome to have something exciting to look forward to. The kids always love it.”
“It’s always something different—balloon artists, face painters, all kinds of surprises,” added Rachel. “Seeing the look on the campers’ faces is priceless.”
While the activities make for a fun-filled summer, it’s the relationships that have the biggest impact.
“Forming relationships with the kids is the best part of camp,” Jake said. “I love being able to make a lasting impact on their summer.”
“It’s so special to spend the whole summer together, just playing and being kids,” Megan added. “You really build lasting bonds.”
As the summer rolls on, this trio of counselors remains committed to creating unforgettable experiences.
“Each day is something new, and I love all the fun we have,” said Rachel. “There’s something really special about the bonds that are formed at camp.”
