Push-Up Rotate

If your excuse for not working out is that you are on the road and travel too much, I don’t want to hear about it. No more excuses, just do it! (I stole that line from Nike. I didn’t want you to think I came up with it on my own).

Here is my go-to workout when I’m on the road and away from the gym. It’s called a ladder…you ladder down from 10 reps.

Do 10 reps the first round than 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. By the end you have done 55 reps of each movement and worked up a good sweat. If you are just starting out, maybe you start with a lower number like a 6 or 5. You could do all of this with just body weight, or if you are at a hotel where there is access to dumbbells then go for it!

  • Up/Down
  • Squats or Jump Squats
  • Split Squat Jumps or Lunges
  • Push Ups
  • Sit Ups
  • Plank Ups (alternate arms)
