What’s so important about impact training?
Impact training is good for your joints because it increases ligament and tendon tensile strength. It also increases cartilage formation in the joint which helps to prevent deterioration of cartilage. This type of training also helps increase bone density which is SUPER important for an aging population, and similar to strength training, it improves joint resistance to wear and tear.
